The air conditioning systems of railway track vehicles offered by the Regonik Ltd. Company include, among the modern regulatory principles and the modularity of the structural construction, also a high degree of system diagnostics. It is based on the need to operatively intervene in case of a necessary service.
The KMR301 unit serves for remote diagnostics of a PMR20xx line regulator, and to determine the location of a carriage it is mounted in. The data transfers run through the GSM/GPRS provider based on an inserted SIM card. The data needed to determine the location are obtained through the GPS system. The KMR301 unit contains a memory card for historic data recording, a communication and navigation module and the isolated circuits for communication in the PMR20xx line regulator. For the diagnostics of the PMR20xx regulator where the card is mounted in, current data is received every second on the bus. When a defined malfunction is indicated in the current data, and this status lasts longer than 10 minutes, the unit sends a malfunction report to a preset telephone numbers. Afterwards, it is possible to connect to the unit via internet, diagnose the malfunction and determine the location of the vehicle. The KMR unit is isolated from the PMR20xx regulator´s power supply and the battery by its own transducer. It is also independent on the operation of the regulator and it is possible to do the diagnostics when the regulator is turned off. In case of utilization of a diagnostics concentrator in the carriage, it is possible to interconnect the RS232 output bus and to exclude individual antennae.
