Determination

Train Broadcasting Centers VRU 130, SRU 130 and RRU 130 are determined for passenger railway carriages, service carriages and driving carriages with space for passengers as a substitute for older radio centers of classical conception with a central power amplifier. They meet the conditions of the UIC 568 recommendation for sounding and telephone systems of RIC carriages.

In the case of whole train connection by through wiring by 13 or 18-conducting train line, centers REGONIK of the line xRU130 enable:

  • call from carriage or locomotive to the service compartment and a service telephone call with the conductor
  • call to the locomotive (driving carriage with space for passengers) and a service telephone call with the engine driver,
  • make a service telephone call between engine drivers in two carriages, respectively at two positions in the locomotive (driving carriage with space for passengers),
  • broadcast from a micro-telephone a live report for passengers in the whole train or in the local carriage (driving carriage with space for passengers),
  • receive report from other carriage,
  • during the report broadcasting produces the signal “MUTE” for silencing close acoustic loudspeakers excluding undesirable acoustic feedback,
  • during received and broadcasted report produces the signal “PRIOR” for shutdown of predetermined attenuation on volume control, called forced listening,
  • after every microphone hang down and pushing button of report option A resounds a three-tone gong as an acoustic signal before broadcasting.

All broadcasting centers REGONIK have at the front panel in accordance with the UIC 568 recommendation these operating and signal elements:

  • “S” – switch carriage/locomotive for report direction
  • AOC “LED” – indication of audio line occupancy with report
  • “C” – button of telephone call to main centre (conductor)
  • TOC “LED” – indication of telephone line occupancy
  • “C” LED – indication of predetermined call to main centre
  • POC “LED” – indication of audio line occupancy by program
  • “L” – button of telephone call to locomotive (engine driver)
  • PON “LED” – indication of switch-on and presence of power supply
  • LED “L” – indication of predetermined call to locomotive
  • LED “ERR” – indication of power supply error
  • “A” – option button for report broadcasting
  • button on micro-telephone for microphone switch-on
  • LED “A” – indication of report predetermination
  • limit switch on micro-telephone hangings sets quiescent condition after micro-telephone hang down
  • “PGM” – switch carriage/train for program direction
  • magnetic fuse on micro-telephone hangings

On customers demand the front panel can be supplemented with an 8-pole connector for mobile music and speech instrument.
