For increasing the safety of operation we also provide various elements for door locking, their control and management. The important moment is the starting of a train set, where there is necessary to close and lock the door against opening at a speed higher than 5km per hour. It is a matter of preventing the passenger from falling out during the drive. Another important moment is the stopping of the train set at the stop. It is important to ensure that the passenger is able to open the door only at the side of the railway platform and that he doesn´t get off into the railyard. The possibility of a collision of a passenger with another driving train set or a locomotive would be a threat there. The closing and locking of the door is an autonomous element of every carriage. The central closing and selective locking – unlocking can be controlled in individual carriages or centrally. Placing the central control in the locomotive is a priority, because it enables the engine-driver to centrally close all the doors and to decide which side of the train set will be unlocked at the arrival to the stop. This control can also be placed into each carriage, where the door function is centrally handled by the conductor.
